I can’t seem to ever get enough of frosty summer drinks & icy treats, but they can be a source of hidden sugar, artificial flavours, chemicals & calories, so I stay hydrated with healthy home-made recipes that are rich in flavour, but not calories or chemicals. There are some downsides to fun in the sun, including sunburns, heatstroke & bugs. Increased sun exposure also means it’s important to help repair & nourish your skin. STAY HYDRATED Even if you’re simply sitting in the sun & not being active, it’s easy to get dehydrated in hot weather. It’s best to limit sugary drinks for adults & kids (including pop & fruit juice).
