Sweet Peach Paradise Tea Latté Recipe
PEACH PARADISE is a Ceylon black tea grown at 6000 feet in elevation, blended with calendula flowers, citrus peel, and peach fruit essence. Make a simple & delicious tea latté!
- 2 tsp. PEACH PARADISE tea
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp. honey
- orange zest & icing sugar for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
Steep PEACH PARADISE tea in boiling water for 5 minutes. Froth or heat non-dairy milk in a saucepan on your stove top. While heating, whisk milk to create frothy bubbles. Strain tea leaves, stir in honey & add equal parts heated milk to tea. Garnish each mug with a dusting of icing sugar & orange zest.
For a little extra heat, add 1 oz of orange liqueur OR white rum to each cup.
Tip: water will extract the flavour from tea leaves more effectively than milk, so it is best to steep the tea in water as opposed to steeping tea in milk.
